The personal information that we may collect, will differ depending on if you are a client, a candidate, or a referee.
For candidates, your information is collected to ascertain your suitability for permanent placements with our clients. It could also be used in the future to contact you to discuss other potential work which may become available at a later date. This information could include data such as:
- Your name
- Your address
- Your contact information
- Your resume including work history & education
- Your cover letter and application form
- Your proof of identity
- Your proof of work rights
- References
- Medical or criminal history
- Copies of licences or qualifications
- Our screening and interview notes
- Any assessments which may be conducted
Client information that is gathered to fill vacancies in your workplace could include:
- Business name
- Business address and contact information
- Accounts information
Referee information that is gathered to ascertain a candidate’s suitability for potential work could include:
- Business name
- Business address and contact information
- Opinions on past performance of candidates being considered for potential permanent placements.
If you do not wish to provide the required personal information, Zanne Consulting may be unable to offer you our services.
Who we share your data with
When applying for work, you are giving permission for your information to be passed on to the potential new employers and for reference checks and any other relevant checks to be conducted. For any other future work, your permission will be obtained prior to your information being passed on.
Client information such as Company Name, address and employee information are passed on to candidates who are being put forward to fill your employee vacancies.
Referee information including opinions may be passed on to potential new employers, with the permission of the referee.
Information may also be passed on to any Government or regulatory authority who lawfully requests any information.
Retaining your data
Zanne Consulting Aust respects your privacy and will make every effort to ensure that your information is safely stored, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 for the required period of time.
Updating or Accessing your data
If you need to update the information stored on your file, please contact Zanne Consulting Aust and we will update the file for you.
If you want to obtain access to your data, please contact our Privacy Officer in writing via the enquiry page on our website. There are some instances in the Privacy Act which prevent us from giving you access to our files, but each request will be assessed on a case by case basis. A small admin fee may be required to access your file.
